Mantrailing

Using your dog’s astounding sense of smell you and your dog will become supersleuths finding hidden people

Tracking

Following a specific track laid by a person, your dog will help you locate hidden items along the way

Truffle Hunting

Learn how you and your dog can search for black gold! You will learn all about the truffle and how to teach your dog to find them under the ground

Welcome to Scentwork Scotland
Initially launched in late 2019 and promptly put a back burner due to Covid 19, we have relaunched this July.
Scentwork Scotland aims to provide a one-stop-shop for all dog enthusiasts in Scotland who want to take part in fun nose work activities with their dogs.
A collaboration between Tynewater Canine and Awesome Paws in Aberdeen will bring four elements of canine nosework together including scentwork, mantrailing, truffle hunting and tracking.
Kicking off with the Scentwork element look out for scent classes, workshops, skill builders, club challenges and more!

We want scentwork to be about you and your dog, having fun together and sharing the experience with like minded folk. Using a range of different environments, different scents and different types of searches we hope you and your dog will learn new skills, rise to the various challenges, celebrate your successes and enjoy!

We initially launched in 2019 but Covid19 put a stop to play.
Following a collaboration with Awesome Paws Aberdeen, we are off and running again.
We are scent Instructors who have a passion for canine nosework and the joy of being one half of a canine nosework partnership.
We want to create an exciting programme of events for you and your dog to enjoy on your nosework adventure. Scentwork Scotland aims to be a one stop shop for all your dog’s nosework needs and over the coming months we will introduce the elements of scentwork, mantrailing, tracking and truffle hunting.
